These are Steve Madden boots. I am in my sister-in-law’s house, and wore these out and about in Seattle.
I am sorry about the brightness of the flash here, but I wanted to show the fabulous zipper. The boots are dark grey leather, even though they look a bit like rubber here. I love how comfy and versatile they are.

This shoe is the Steve Madden “Stacie.” This is my Spring trend “nude shoe.” 🙂 I really am excited about this fashion trend. They go with everything and they really do make me feel like my legs are super long. I chose the “Stacie” because it has the cute square toe like a ballet shoe. I think it is a whimsical and very feminine design. The hidden platform makes it possible to wear for long periods at a time.
The dress was picked out by the husband. Isn’t he sweet! It’s by Tahari form Nordstrom.
By the way, you may notice that it is still not that warm here in San Diego… by the lack of any color on my legs! 🙂 Man, I am ready for some real sunshine! I dared to wear this without tights because of the nude shoes, but I might have to return to my friends, the black tights for a few more weeks.

What I seem to be noticing with my shoes posts is two-fold. One, I am a little boring, but … Two, I really do wear my shoes.
We were down at the beach for piano lessons for the boys, so I had Steve let us jump out for a few quick pictures. I was very happy to catch the end of the daylight. The pier in the background is Crystal Pier. We didn’t have time to walk out to the end on this visit, but that is one our family’s favorite relaxing walks.

I had a great time wearing these shoes! I went to the mall to run a few errands, and I must have gotten at least four compliments on the shoes. I have had these for about three years now, but I always love to wear them. It was a gorgeous day out, after having had several rainy ones in a row. I think everyone was feeling Spring in the air, if only for a day or two.
