Dressember #3 and Shoe Challenge #64

Day #3, and the dress had to wait until night-time to come out and play.

I wore this to celebrate Little Brother’s 13th birthday.  We went out to a delicious dinner, and I will give more detail on that in a later post.

This also happens to fall in my sub-catagory of Party Dress #1.  I am curious to see how many party dresses I will end up wearing this season.

The dress is a Jones Wear Dress that I found at JC Penney.

I wanted to show the back, because The Husband really likes how this dress looks from the back. 🙂

These are my Christian Louboutin NIB Pumps.  I am so glad to have been able to “save” these last night. I love the low side cut on these.  I have not worn them with tights before, and I enjoyed how that turned out.

Shoe Challenge #60 – Gold Christian Louboutins

Wow! I am so glad to have made it to Shoe Save #60.  To recognise this small milestone, I thought I would post my gold Christian Louboutins I wore the other night to a holiday party for some people from The Husband’s work.

These photos are from the end of the night, so my feet were very tired and a bit swolen.  Oh, well, a great pair of shoes helps any situation. 😉

Shoe Challenge #47 – Day One on The Train to Seattle & Christian Louboutin Slingbacks

The photo above was taken by Little Brother.  I think he did a very nice job, and I might have to start using his photography skills more often. 🙂

We are finally on vacation!  These are a pair of my most favorite shoes ever.  They are not, however, a shoe that lends itself to everyday wear.  So, when it was time to ride a train to Seattle with the family, I thought… here is my chance!  I think this might be my very favorite shoe in my collection.  The lace is just lovely, and the heel height is towering, yet delicate.  The bow is even perfect.  Big, but not over the top.

Shoes:  Christian Louboutin Satin and Lace Slingbacks

Anyway, here are the boys being silly about being tall in our tiny room an the train.

Lunch in the Dining Car.

Wine tasting in the Parlour Car.  Lovely.  🙂

If you are following the Shoe Challenge this is pair #47.

Shoe Challenge #25

This was the day of birthdays and we had two big parties to attend.  One was a 60th and the other was a 40th, so we were dressed up for both events.  I decided that this was a good day to bring out a pair of my all time favorite shoes.

The shoes are by Christian Louboutin.  I got them a while back on a trip to Las Vegas.  The best boutique is there in the Venetian shops.  These shoes are so easy to wear, they match everything and are really comfortable.

My jeans are also a favorite.  They are by Cookie Johnson.  She makes really wonderful denim!
