Finding the balance – I think this is one of the hardest
things for us as bloggers to deal with. How do you do it all and still
live, work and play as you should?
1. When it comes to prioritizing your life, in what place does
blogging fall?
Because I am new to blogging, it is getting a good amount of my time and attention at this point. Actually, I think I am much more concerned about the laundry falling behind and the dishes piling up around me. Writing is much more appealing to me than folding clothes!
2. We all wish we had more free time to dedicate to blogging and all
it entails. What are your tricks for taking advantage of the time you
do have to be as productive as possible?
I wish I had more to offer here. I will be looking forward to reading what others have to say. I would, however like to try to find ways to blog when I am out and about. As a mom, I have lots of time that I spend waiting. At some point, I would like to be able to use that time to work on the blog, so my at home time could be more focused on the jobs that I do there.
3. Have you discovered any short-cuts that makes blogging easier or
more time efficient?
Not yet. Sorry.
4. Do you have an editorial calendar or something similar that helps
you plan ahead?
No, but I do have a small folder that I carry with me to catch ideas. I often tear pages out of magazines to keep and write about later. I also keep a list of topic ideas in that folder to look back on when I am ready to write.
5. If time wasn’t an issue what you would be doing on your blog/for
your blog that you aren’t doing now?
I want to make the appearance of my blog more attractive. I am not sure how to go about that just yet. I am sure I need to spend some more time learning about new skills in that area. I also need to learn more skill with my photography. I would definitely like to take a class or two.
